SAFY, which stands for Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth, is a nationally recognized Therapeutic Foster Care agency who’s mission is to raise awareness and provide stable, safe, caring homes to children in care.

I am a Licensed Social Worker and have worked in the field of Child Welfare for over 25 years. I am married and the mom to 4 boys. I’m active in my church serving, along with my husband, as Youth Leader as well as committee chairperson. I volunteer as a mentor through The Legacy Project of Stark county with a group of 5 sixth grade girls every Friday. I also volunteer at my son’s school and enjoy cheering on the Indians, Browns, & Buckeyes. My job as a Foster Parent Recruiter/Social Worker allows me to help children in need and affect change in our community.
